Today’s post is all about development in Charlotte Hall. Just over 50 acres known as “Henderson Farm” off Golden Beach Road is for sale. The advertisement shows up to 10 lots available for single family homes, including a multi street build out. Looking at the County’s GIS Map, the Henderson Farm development is owned by Southern Developers LLC, which also holds three bordering land parcels that together make up Phase 1 of the development.

To the north, bordering the back of the Henderson Farm development property, is a 134 acre parcel registered to Jane G Henderson LLC. This property has frontage along Mount Wolf Rd across from Indian Creek Estates. Plans for this property include a large development with 249 lots, comprised of 130 single family homes and 119 townhomes. The development will be served by central water/sewer and a water tower, which will likely be routed to the approximately 10 acres owned by MetCom just behind Food Lion.
